Completition of Miller Hill Subdivision

TMG Homes, Inc. recently announced the completion of "Miller Hill", a new single family development located on the north side of Coatesville.  The project featured 12 single family homes perched on the hills of Adams Drive.  Construction began in December 2005 and the first home was delivered April 2006.  Chadd Martin, one of the principals, remarked that City officials were easy to work with and welcomed the developer in a time of rapid change.  "We were eager to be the first in a long line of developers to step in and get the revitalization off the ground".  Miller Hill was completed in just over 12 months while other large scale projects remain on the drawing boards.  The City Manager was happy to see results.  "I was ......" says Harry Walker.

Buyers were excited to see the development completed as well.  "The location was ideal in that it was close to the bypass but the price and no-cost upgrades sealed the deal for us" said a first-time home buyer who relocated from Philadelphia.  In fact, 64% of the units were sold to first those first-time buyers.  In a time when the new construction market was shifting, the builders tried to look at the big picture.  "We wanted to find an entry level price point that made sense and frankly, be the lowest priced new construction in the County."  Said Torrey Marks, co-founder of TMG Homes, Inc.

TMG Homes, Inc says the project was 92% sold out within the year and that only one unit remains.  Matt Fetick of Keller Williams, Brandywine Valley the selling agent on the project says, "These houses feature some of the best construction I’ve seen yet the pricing is great for those striving to move from renting to ownership, and the rates are still at a point where that is possible." 

The firm is currently planning several other new construction in-fill projects in Chester County and is early due diligence for a large scale multifamily development in the City of Philadelphia.
